What should I confirm before ordering QR-code or logo printing?

Confirm the exact print area, source artwork, intended scan distance and surface contrast, then test the printed mark with the intended reader. A photograph of a code does not prove scan performance or a particular model’s software capability.

Content reviewed and revised: 2026-10-10. Application-test evidence pending.

Prepare the content

Provide the actual QR payload, barcode type or original monochrome logo file, plus the intended size. Keep required blank margins and record how the source file was generated. Confirm import formats and code-generation features for the exact printer and software revision; these have not been formally verified for every model.

Choose by the verified print limits

The four-model comparison separates source-supported print areas from missing specifications. Do not transfer PX1’s documented print area to PX2-M. Fine detail and scan reliability need a physical test at the intended size.

Test the complete job

Record model/revision, ink SKU, substrate/coating, dimensions, settings and print conditions. Test with the intended scanner or phone at the intended distance and lighting. Keep the original sample and record passes and failures with the reader and method used. No scan rate, barcode grade or durability claim is supplied here.

Evidence and next step

The application evidence register identifies the missing model and test data behind supplied images. Retail purchases can use existing checkout without a sample. Use application evaluation when code readability or a difficult surface is essential.

For a complex application, use sample testing. For dealer, OEM or wholesale requirements, use the distributor form.
