Ink & Material
Confirm the printing surface before choosing ink.
Choose ink using the actual surface and the required result. Existing photographs do not identify the ink or establish adhesion, drying time or resistance. Request a traceable test when those properties determine whether the printer fits your job.
Identify the surface, not just the material name
Record the substrate, coating, texture, color, curvature and any oil, dust or condensation. Two plastic bags or labels can have different surface treatments. Confirm the ink SKU supplied with the set rather than assuming every “standard cartridge” has the same chemistry.
Define the result that matters
State the required text or code, size, color contrast and reading method. If the print will be rubbed, washed, refrigerated or exposed to chemicals, define that exposure before testing. No universal drying time, water resistance or rub resistance is verified in the current public samples.
Run a traceable sample check for a complex application
- Record the printer model and hardware/firmware revision, ink SKU and cartridge batch.
- Photograph the actual surface and record cleaning, coating, temperature and humidity.
- Record the print file, code size, distance, trigger and fixture.
- Keep the original sample photo or continuous video with its date and test identifier.
- Record observed readability and any timed dry, rub or water test using defined steps. State results only for those conditions.
Consumables and food-related packaging
One standard cartridge is included in a complete set; extra cartridges are optional. Ask support for the exact cartridge specification and relevant documents. A photo of printing on an egg or food package does not establish food-contact safety. The existing evidence does not verify food-contact approval for a named ink.
What the current examples establish
The application register contains supplied photographs with missing model, ink and test-condition fields clearly identified. They illustrate visible marks, not approved performance claims. For PX1-M, the full manual remains Coming Soon; no unavailable manual is presented as a download.
